The BeginNing of Rocksolid….
Rocksolid Autobody was established in 2007 by Todd Sorensen. Todd previously worked for his Father and Uncle for 11 years where he completed his panel beating apprenticeship and received ‘apprentice of the year’ recognition during this time. Todd has always had a love and passion for muscle cars and classics and during his time at his father’s business he restored a HQ Monaro. Todd then went on to help restore cars for mates and then friends of mates on weekends. The demand for his expertise soon grew and with encouragement from his late Uncle (also a keen panel beater and a love of hot rods and muscle cars himself) Todd left the family business to start Rocksolid Autobody. Todd’s vision would be to specialize in the restoration of muscle cars, hot rods and classics.
ROCKSOLID TODAY
The Rocksolid team today is made of Todd, Ash, Mitch and Krissie.
On site we boast a Low Bake Spray booth with both Glasurit and PPG paint systems. Our tradesmen have over 30 years’ experience in panel beating and spray painting between them.
Our specialty is customizing and restoring muscle cars, hot rods and classics and we welcome minor repairs on your pride and joy, touch ups, rust repairs and collision.

Our vision here at Rocksolid Autobody is to restore classic cars back to their former glory and ensure ongoing life and pleasure for their owners.
With the ever changing automotive industry, panel beating these old classics is seen as a dying trade. Whilst, specialising in repair and restoration we also enjoy the challenge of customising these cars to suit the owner’s vision. A high quality restoration or an elite build we have the equipment, experience and knowledge to handle any project.
